As a Native San Diegan, this is one of my favorite medals I own. Commemorating the 1983 ANA Convention held in San Diego, the obverse shows two of Balboa Park's landmarks, the California Building Dome, and the California Tower. The reverse shows an aircraft carrier sailing underneath he Coronado Bridge, and has the ANA logo. Also mentioned is the Conventions sponsor, the San Diego Inter-Club Numismatic Council.
