Leonel C. Panosh was one of the most important numismatists in American coin collection history. Inducted to the ANA Hall of Fame in 1984, Mr. Panosh was inspirational towards the founding of clubs in California, as well as holding many offices as seen below. The reverse shows the logo of the California State Numismatic Association, of which he was a founder, and as celebrated in the medal, President from 1951-1952
