The American Numismatic Association is the largest organization in the United States dedicated to the education and encouragement of the study and collecting of money and related items. This medal celebrates its 75th anniversary in 1966. The obverse shows three of the founding members: Founder Dr. G.F. Heath; First President William G. Jerrems; and First Vice President J. Hooper. The reverse shows the official seal of the ANA.
